What kinds of activities do you want to do?
As part of the reunion planning - Karen is looking into various activities for the family to do. Obviously we will have one big dinner event where everyone will attend (probably on a Saturday night). But we want to plan other activities. Here are some ideas being bounced around:- Duck Tour
- Red Sox Game
- Pickup basketball game
- Golf outing
- Trolley tour of family locations in Malden
- Day at the Beach
We know that everyone has different interests. Do any of these sound interesting to you? Do you have any other ideas?

The Duck Tour and the day at the beach sound like fun to me!
There have been a few questions about things to do, particularly inexpensive ones, so I thought I'd put up this list of things I'd recommend. (Hope this isn't activity overload).
Great with Kids:
Make way for ducklings tour (if you read the book) 617-426-1885
Ride the swan boats
Ride bikes, rollerblade/skate, play/picnic at the esplanade.
Go to the Stone or Franklin Park zoo.
Go on the USS Constitution (part of the freedom trail, but not covered by the duck tour).
Slightly pricier:
Museum of Science/Omni Imax Theater
- The imax here is particularly cool because it's a partial globe, so you really feel like you're moving. Also, this is probably one of the best science museums around. You can do the museum and imax separately.
Children's museum (but only $1/person after 5pm on Friday)
Aquarium
Whale watch cruises
Other insiders tips/things for "older" kids:
Harvard Natural History Museums are free on Sunday morning.
Depending on the weekend, there may still be free Shakespeare in Boston Common at night.
All great ideas, but as much as I like "Trolley tour of family locations in Malden" it could be somewhat depressing, as everything has changed so much!
